Criminal Records Background Checks

Statewide criminal corrections database that contains records of inmates who are currently incarcerated. Database of approximately 25,000 inmates. Results generally include the inmate's name, date-of-birth, race, sex, current location, status, and sometimes the projected release date. This database is updated monthly. Because this search is so limited, for a more complete search of records within a given area, including cases that may not have resulted in current incarceration, a 7-year or 10-year Alabama county-level criminal records search is recommended.

Court records of statewide felony and misdemeanor convictions since 1986. Records are from all 32 Superior Courts and 4 district and municipal courts. Search also includes some traffic violations. Results usually include the defendant's name, alias name(s), date-of-birth, disposition, case number, and charge(s). This criminal records database is updated quarterly. Search also includes records of records of high-risk Sexual Offenders, updated monthly.

Pima County Criminal Records - Court records of felony and misdemeanor dispositions from 1990. Search results show the defendant's name, date-of-birth, race, sex, case #, charges, disposition, date, and sentence. Records updated monthly.

County Court Records - Court records of felony and misdemeanor dispositions since 1987 from all other counties EXCEPT Maricopa County. Records on approximately 4 million persons. Results show the file date, disposition date, county, case #, defendant name, date-of-birth, race, sex, charge, disposition and sentence. Records updated monthly.

Statewide Corrections Records - Corrections records from all counties of felony criminal convictions and guilty pleas on persons who have been sentenced to serve time at a state correctional facility since 1985. Results show the date of crime, county, defendant name, date-of-birth, race, sex, height, weight, charge, and sentence. This search also includes records high-risk Sexual Offender. Records are updated monthly.

Court Records - Statewide court records of felony and high-level misdemeanor convictions since 1987. Court disposition records generally include the defendant's name, alias names, date-of-birth, race, sex, height, weight, county, date of crime, charge(s), disposition, and sentence. Court disposition records are updated monthly.

Statewide Corrections Records - Statewide corrections records of persons convicted of felonies and sentenced to serve time in a state correctional facility since 1987. Felony incarceration records generally include the defendant's name, date-of-birth, race, sex, case number, county, arrest date, charge(s), and sentence. Corrections records are updated quarterly.

Sexual Offender Records - Search also includes records of high-risk Sexual Offenders convicted or under court-ordered supervision after August 1, 1997 for sex offenses specified under Arkansas law; or a person who was required to be registered under the Habitual Child Sex Offender Registration Act, are required to register. Sexual offender records are updated monthly.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THIS DATABASE: Please read the full description of the following databases carefully. Also keep in mind that Superior Courts in CA generally handle mainly felony cases only. We do not recommend this search as a primary screening tool in the state of California. This search is not among the most complete or accurate searches that we offer. It offers limited information and does not include all records from any given county or court. For a more thorough search in any given area in CA, we offer both 7-year and 10-year California manual county-level criminal record searches.

This database contains records from Contra Costa Superior Court records, Fresno County Superior Court records, Indio Superior Court records, Los Angeles Superior Court records, Marin Superior Court records, Orange Superior Court records, Riverside Superior Court records, Sacramento Superior Court records, Santa Barbara Superior Court records, San Bernardino Superior Court records, San Diego Superior Court records, Santa Clara Superior Court, Santa Cruz Superior Court records, and Ventura Superior Court records. The records from Contra Costa, Los Angeles, Marin, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Clara and Ventura County are name indices only. Los Angeles County has felony filings only. The other counties show offender's name, date of birth, offense case number, offense statute and date of probation expiration. Court records data back at least 10 years except Santa Barbara County records date back only to 2001. Santa Clara County records date back to 1999. Fresno County was last updated August 2003. The other counties listed are updated monthly.

Statewide felony and misdemeanor criminal records. The beginning dates for these court records vary between 1977 and 1995, except for Broomfield County and Denver County, which date back to 2001. Results generally include the defendant's name, alias names, date-of-birth, physical description, county, case number, disposition date, verdict, and sentencing information. This search also includes records of high-risk sexual predators and violent sexual offenders. Sexual offender records are updated monthly, the Denver County database is update quarterly; all other counties are updated daily.

Statewide felony and misdemeanor criminal records since 1990 and incarceration records since 1982. Search results generally include the defendant's name, date-of-birth, county, case number, disposition, disposition date, verdict, and sentencing information. This background check also includes records of high-risk Sexual Offenders released into the community on or after October 1, 1988. These Connecticut criminal databases are updated monthly.

Sexual Offender Data ONLY - This database contains high-risk offenders. Results may include the offender’s name, date of birth, physical description, address and crime. This database is updated monthly.

Corrections Data - Corrections records of persons who have been convicted of felonies and/or gross misdemeanors and sentenced to serve time in the DC correctional facility from January of 1999 to March 2002 only. This database includes records of persons who have been found guilty of the offense listed and who have been released after serving their sentence - those persons who have been paroled or released. Records usually include the defendant's name, date-of-birth, race, sex, charge, sentence, minimum sentence for the offense listed, sentence date, case number, and release date. These records are NOT updated due to the statutes and governing laws of public information in the District of Columbia. For a more thorough search, we also offer 7-year and 10-year manual court searches in Washington D.C.

Sexual Offender Data - This database contains high-risk offenders. Results may include the offender’s name, date of birth, physical description, address and crime. This database is updated monthly.

Corrections Records - Statewide corrections records of criminal convictions and guilty pleas (mainly felonies) from all Florida counties on persons who have been sentenced to serve time or community service, or have received a suspended sentence or probation at a state facility since 1974. (Due to pending litigation, the records from this database are currently limited to those from 1974 to August 2004. Future updates are pending the outcome of current legal challenges in the state of Florida.) This search also includes records of high-risk Sexual Offenders sentenced since July 1993, updated monthly.

Additional County - Court records of felony and misdemeanor dispositions from Alachua County, Brevard County, Charlotte County, Duval County, Palm Beach County, and Pinellas County since 1990. Court records of felony and misdemeanor dispositions from Bay County since 1997, Broward County since 1975, Dade County since 1980 (convictions only), Hernando County since 1989, and Marion and Monroe County since 1994. All of these county court databases are updated monthly, except Pinellas County - which is updated quarterly.

Hillsborough County - Court filings on felony and misdemeanor charges since 1988. Note: Hillsborough County records are filings ONLY, not dispositions. Updated monthly.

Orange County - Court records of felony and misdemeanor dispositions from 1990 to November 2003. Updates to this supplemental Orange County database are pending the court’s decision regarding the release of criminal records in this county.

Osceola County - Court records of felony and misdemeanor dispositions from 1996 to November 2003. Updates to this supplemental Osceola County database are pending the court’s decision regarding the release of criminal records in this county.

Results vary by the source of the records, but most show at least the disposition date, county, case number, defendant name, date-of-birth, charge(s), disposition, and sentence information.

Corrections Records - Statewide criminal records on felony and some higher-level misdemeanor convictions on individuals who have received probation or jail time and been under the supervision of a state correctional facility since 1979. Search results usually show the defendant's name, alias names, date of birth, social security number (when available), FBI number, physical description, county, case number, verdict, verdict date, court location, probation and sentencing information. Georgia Bureau of Investigation Data - This statewide database contains most (but not all) felony and misdemeanor conviction records from at least the past ten years. Search results generally include the defendant's name, alias names, date-of-birth, partial social security number (when available), physical description, race, arresting agency, disposition, disposition date, sentencing information, and other related details. This database is updated twice a year.

Georgia Sex Offender Data - This database contains high-risk offenders. Results may show offender’s name, year of birth, physical description, address, registration date, conviction date, crime and county. This database is updated monthly.

Sexual Offender Data ONLY - Records of South Dakota high-risk Sexual Offenders from the following SD counties ONLY: Brooks, Brown, Clay, Codington, Davidson, Hughes, Lake, Lawrence, Lincoln, Meade, McCook, and Minnehaha. Results may include the offender’s name, date-of-birth, physical description, address, offense, offense date, conviction county, and offense conviction date. This database is updated monthly. This database is the only SD criminal database that is currently available as part of either of our multi-state searches.

Search also includes records on more than 100,000 individuals who are registered as Sexual Offenders in the state of Texas (and when available, their pictures). Records updated monthly.

Additional County Criminal Records - In addition to the statewide criminal database listed above, the Texas search also includes a check of additional court records of criminal convictions from Bexar, Chambers, Denton, El Paso, Fort Bend, Harris (felony records only), Montgomery (misdemeanor records only), Travis, and Victoria Counties since at least 1995. Inmate Search - This database contains information on convicted offenders who are currently residing in a state correction institution or have recently been incarcerated under the auspices of the Vermont Department of Corrections. Results generally include the defendant's name, date-of-birth, committing correctional facility, correctional facility address, and correctional facility phone number. These records do not include offense descriptions.
